December 28, 2009
I tried to hike his tral, Massacre on Christmas Eve (12/24/2009) and it appears the Forest Service has blocked the road and put no parking signs. I made the hike in April 2009 and wanted to take my kids again, but were unable to make the last .7 miles to the parking area and were forced to make another day hike in search of Santa’s lost workshop.
