Trail Information

The Massacre Grounds Trail is a remote desert hike in Lost Dutchman State Park. The trail provides hikers with an excellent view of Weaver’s Needle and other massive rock formations. This trail is even more enjoyable after good rains, when water is present and waterfalls cascade from the cliffs. The Massacre Grounds Trail crosses several other trail so there are many options for longer hikes or loops. You can contact the park office in advance of your hike for maps of the many interconnecting trails.
