Trail Information

The Little Baldy Trail is a fairly easy trek to the summit of a granite dome providing panoramic views of the surrounding mountains. The trail begins from Little Baldy Saddle on Generals Highway, heading north and beginning to ascend immediately. It consists of long switchbacks that climb 650 feet to the 8,044 foot summit of Little Baldy. Hikers are rewarded with views of nearby granite domes. We recommend bringing a topo map of the area so you can pick out nearby mountains.

Directions

From Ash Mountain Entrance:
Drive north and east on Generals Highway to the Little Baldy Trailhead on the north side of the road.
