Trail Information

The Pahayokee Overlook Trail is located twelve miles from the main entrance along Main Park Road. This is a very short, paved trail above a wetland leading to an excellent wildlife viewing spot. The trail is and handicapped accessible. Sights of the expansive sawgrass prairie give way to alligators and abundant birdlife.

Directions

From Homestead:
Drive west several miles on County Road 9336. The trailhead is located twelve miles from the main park entrance (Main Park Road).
