Trail Information

The Buck Mountain Trail leads to the top of Buck Mountain, which over looks Blue River and Tidbits Creek drainages. This trail was part of an old gold mine trail and has been incorporated into a loop trail which leads back to Road 1510 about 1 mile from the first trailhead. The mountaintop was the previous site of a fire lookout.

Directions

From Blue River:
Proceed east 3 miles on Highway 126, turn left onto Road 15 for 5 miles, turn onto Road 1509 for 0.5 miles then turn left onto Road 1510 for 5.5 miles to roadside parking located on the right.
