Trail Information

The Larison Creek Trail begins at Road 21 and follows the north edge of Larison Cove to it’s junction with Larison Creek. From here the trail follows the creek until at 5.2 miles, it switchbacks up a west facing slope to Road 2106. Some sections of this trail can be quite muddy during wet weather. While the trail does not have many good views, the hike offers some opportunities for solitude. This trail begins easily, but becomes progressively steeper after 2.5 miles. The trail passes through several clear-cuts near the end. There is water available from Larison Creek.

Directions

From Oakridge:
Go south on Highway 58 to Kitson Springs Road 23 for 0.5 miles to Forest Road 21 and turn right. Follow this for 3.3 miles to the trailhead on the right.
