Trail Information

The Larison Rock Trail is a very popular trail leading from Road 5852, directly south of Oakridge and ending at the summit of Larison Rock. A short trail from Road 2102 offers access from above. This is a heavily forested old growth area with many different types of vegetation including vine maple, rhododendrons and Oregon grape, making this a beautiful trail in spring and fall.

From the summit, a wonderful view of the Three Sisters and Diamond Peak, as well as most of Oakridge and Rigdon Ranger Districts can be seen. There is no water available along the trail so be sure to bring enough.

Directions

From Oakridge:
Go south on Highway 58 to Kitson Springs Road 23 for 0.5 miles to Forest Road 21 and turn right. Follow this for .25 miles to Forest Road 5852, just across the bridge and turn right. Continue on Forest Road 5852 for 4 miles to the trailhead on the left.
