Trail Information:

A nearly five mile hike, rich in abundant wildlife. Along the trail you will see small to tiny ponds, that have been fitted with small nesting boxes.
These are to provide housing to wood ducks who raise ducklings in the area over the summer.

The hiker or biker along this trail will be hiking in Massachusettes, Rhode Island,as well as Connecticut.

A stone wall will indicate that you are close to Massachusetts border.

A brook will bring you close to the Connecticut border.

In the spring, you might see red fox, white tail deer, numerous waterfowl andparticularly the wood and mallard ducks who nest in the area.

Directions:

Take RI 100 north from Pascoag to Buck Hill Road and turn left. The entrance is 2.3 miles from the turnoff. You will pass a fire tower and a road for a Boy Scout Camp on your left, then a rifle range on the right, before reaching the gravel access road, also on the right.
