Trail Information

The Maybird Gulch Trail branches from the Red Pine Trail at the bridge near the landmark buttress. The trail then travels westward as it crosses over the ridge. The Maybird Gulch Trail climbs steadily to the Maybird Lakes. The trail offers a great view of the Pfeifferhorn.

When winter comes, the Maybird Gulch Trail becomes a popular snowshoeing and backcountry skiing location.

Directions

Via Little Cottonwood Canyon Road (9400 South Wasatch Blvd) about 5.3 miles up the canyon. Follow Red Pine Trail about 1.25 miles past White Pine Junction to Maybird Gulch Junction.
