Inspiration Point, Utah
Trail Information
Upper Inspiration Point is an appropriately named stop providing visitors a phenomenal view down into Bryce Amphitheater, the park’s largest and most colorful natural amphitheater. From this point, you see the Silent City, packed with hoodoos that inspire the imagination. Some claim the view is even better just south of Inspiration Point along the Rim Trail, up a little rise, at what is called Upper Inspiration Point.
The Rim Trail to Upper Inspiration Point is a short but steep hike with less than 200 feet of climbing. If the trail looks too ambitious, you can stay below at the lower viewpoint. Both look over the head of the amphitheater and place you close to the rock formations. This trail features several close-up viewpoints into the canyon
