Trail Information

The Balanced Rock Loop Trail is a short, easy trail that leads less than a half mile around Balanced Rock, which is a large sandstone boulder perched on a narrow pedestal. The trail begins at the Balanced Rock parking area and leads southeast to a fork. This fork is the beginning and end of the loop. You can follow the trail in either direction to circle the base of Balanced Rock.

From Main Park Entrance:
Drive 9 miles north along the park road to Balanced Rock parking area.
