Trail Information

The Broken Arch Trail is an easy hiking trail that can be accessed from Sand Dune Arch parking area or Devils Garden campground. If you begin the hike at the campground, the trailhead is located across from campsite number 40. If beginning from Sand Dune Arch parking area, follow the trail to Sand Dune Arch. The trail then turns to the north and enters a canyon area secluded by large sandstone fins. Continue hiking north to where the trail forks. This fork is the beginning and end of the Broken Arch loop. Take the right fork to reach Broken Arch.

If you are interested in a longer hike, continue following the loop through the campground and back to the starting point. This trip will take anywhere between 30 and 60 minutes depending on how far you go. The hike is two miles long if you include the loop to the campground.

Directions

From Main Park Entrance:
Drive north 18 miles to the Devils Campground access road. Turn right into the campground. The trailhead lies on the southernmost point of the campground road near site number 40.
