Trail Information
The Little Cottonwood Canyon Trail shares its trailhead with the Temple Quarry Nature Trail. The parking lot is located to the right of the mouth of Little Cottonwood Canyon and behind the large electric sign. The trailhead is at the far end of the parking lot. The Little Cottonwood Canyon Trail follows an old hydroelectric pipeline as well as old mining roads. The trail intersects a paved road and a couple of gates. Go around the gates. Don’t go down the paved road or you may be trespassing on private property.
During winter, the Little Cottonwood Canyon Trail becomes the domain of snowshoers.

Via Little Cottonwood Canyon Road (9400 South Wasatch Blvd). The trailhead is shared with the Temple Quarry Nature Trail. The parking lot is located to the right of the mouth of Little Cottonwood Canyon and behind the large electric sign.
