Trail Information

The Temple Quarry Nature Trail includes an area that provided the granite for the construction of the Salt Lake LDS Temple in the 1800’s. The trail is a paved path that meanders through the area with interpretive signs for visitors to read. A small amphitheater is located along the trail, near the restrooms.

Directions

Via Little Cottonwood Canyon Road (9400 South Wasatch Blvd). The trail starts from a parking lot located to the right of the mouth of Little Cottonwood Canyon and behind the large electric sign.
