Trail Information
The Noisy Creek Trail is maintained annually by volunteer trail crews, but can be difficult to follow at times. The trail follows Noisy Creek on its eastern side for approximately one mile and ends at the creek shore. Noisy Creek provides good fishing. A Washington State fishing license is required for fishing in the National Forest.
The end of the Noisy Creek Trail begins a favorite cross-country route to remote Green Lake and Berdeen Lake and the Noisy-Diobsud Wilderness. Upon entering the wilderness follow all wilderness regulations. Hikers entering the North Cascades National Park via Noisy Creek and planning to stay overnight must get a backcountry permit from the park headquarters in Sedro-Woolley.
Directions
To locate Noisy Creek Trail via Baker Lake (formerly East Bank) Trail #610, drive the Baker Lake Highway 25.0 miles to the road’s end. Turn left on Road 1168. Road 1168 ends in 0.5 mile at the trailhead for the Baker River Trail #606. Hike the Baker River Trail for 0.5 miles until reaching a junction and a bridge over the Baker River. Turn right to follow the Baker Lake Trail and cross the river. The Noisy Creek Trail is located 4.5 miles south of the Baker River on the left hand side. The trail junction is not clearly marked. Signs of the existing trail can be found on the eastern side of Noisy Creek.
