Trail Information

The Park McFadden Trail travels along private property for the first mile. The trail then turns north through pinyon/juniper woodlands and crosses McFadden Creek. After crossing the creek, the trail leads to the top of McFadden Peak and the McFadden Lookout Tower. The Park McFadden Trail offers views of Park Creek Canyon and plenty of additional scenic vistas. There is no water along this trail except during the rainy season, so carry plenty of water with you.

From Young:
Travel south on State Highway 288 about 18 miles, north of Reynolds Creek and south of the private property. Take the road that leads to the Circle Ranch Trailhead. The trailhead is located on the west side of the highway.
