Trail Information

The Parker Creek Trail is a scenic trail that ascends from the Young Highway into the Sierra Ancha Wilderness. The trail is narrow and is steep in several spots. Horses may have a rough time at some places where the trail has some tight turns. The trail follows Parker Creek heading to several scenic vistas of Armer Mountain, Carr Peak and Grantham Peak.

From Young:
The Parker Creek Trail is located off of Young Highway (Highway 288). Follow Young Highway through the old Sierra Ancha Experimental Station Headquarters to the trailhead. There is parking at the trailhead. But be sure not to block roads if you park in this area.
